Qualiturn @mach2016 ordered a New STAR SR32J. This will repalce a 10yrs old machine. This will bring faster machining and better tolerance control.

The SR-32J sliding head, 7-axis CNC lathe was specially designed to enable the manufacture of medium/complex sub 32mm components. Its fully independent sub spindle, which is complete with C axis assists, in creating greater overlapping opportunities which help reduce cycle times.

The recently designed F40 collet sleeve now enables the machine to manufacture components up to 36mm in diameter. This is made possible by the rigidity, weight and power of the Star SR-32J, which has a 7.5 Kw main spindle motor and a 3.7 Kw sub spindle motor. In addition, 16mm square cutting tool holders further assist the machine in taking deep cuts, even in exotic materials.
