Experienced CNC Millier - 22/05/23

Qualiturn Are a family Business, founded in 1974. Employing 40 people. Working from our facility in Hertford.

As a CNC Milling Machinist you will join a team of skilled and motivated engineers manufacturing key components for many different industries in the subcontract industry.

You will have relevant experience and/or a modern apprenticeship with several years’ experience in CNC machining operations.

You preferably, will be able to program/set/operate vertical or 5th Axis CNC machines, possess an understanding of machining processes, tooling and materials.

The Role

  • Must be able to program, set and operate CNC machines with FANUC controlled. Current Machines are x2 5 axis Doosan DVF5000 x2 3axis DNM Doosan
  • Able to use measuring equipment
  • Able to read and understand Engineering drawings and models
  • Some Experience in automation would be an advantage but training given
  • Some Experience with 5th Axis, Training given as per requirment
  • Eye for detail and have a continuous improvement approach
  • Programming experience with Cad/Cam Software packages, we currently use ONECNC.

In your role, you may be required to carry out other processes within the facility in order to complete the project as necessary and work with your co-worker’s to ensure that each operation is finished on time and right first time.

You should be able to proactively resolve issues, identify improvement, maintain machinery, continually improve process efficiency, maintain visual information, keeping production moving to maximum efficiency, maintain all production processes, keep paperwork and job information up to date and be able to help create and maintain a growing department.

Training can be given to the right candidate.

CNC Programming: 1/2 year (Preferred) using Onecnc / other software experience would be considered/desirable

CNC Machinist: 5 year (Preferred)
